You'd like Kaki King... perhaps they're related!!??

Interesting, I do that kind of stuff when I have nothing else to play... banging around on my guitar and such;I then came up with a cool riff that turned into a tune.

Another guy is Victor Wooton.
He plays in the same style but on a bass... pretty crazy stuff

I've never been very advanced musically other than playing party gigs and later in life...at church. Mudd, I did the same as an Lt, maxed out the card with my first electric, an 8-track recorder, a little 30 watt Laney, a rack-mount EQ and harmonizer, 110 watt Fender tube, PA system, etc., etc., etc.

Haven't advanced much in the equipment arena in the past 9 years (I have 4 kids now). Must say my playing skill is better now. Personally I really like any delta blues (Son House, Preston Shannon, Leadbelly, Howlin' Wolf). Personal music favs are mostly Christian (Tree 63, Skillet, 12 Stones, Michael Card, POD, Paul Baloche) but I still enjoy Van Halen, James Taylor, and Townes Van Zandt. Used to really like The Boss til he went ultra liberal (he always was, I was just in denial). Must say all time favorite secular band is Rush...

ATTACK!!!!!!!

Mudd, that dude needs to put a hyphen between his first and last name. If you glance at it real fast, it appears that it reads just stinking.com.

That double 6-string guitar would be cooler if he had two different registers: a regular guitar register, and a baritone one.
...heheheh, looks like I just came up with a project...

W30:
I played for a church too, and a loony one at that.
Think of the one in the Blues Brothers and multiply it by a fator of x2.
They would play the contemporary christian music that they sometimes advertise on television: Hillsongs, etc...
I personally can't stand the stuff; it's so over-produced. However, it sounded really sweet when we played the stuff live.

An interesting thing our band did was take a parts of the afformentioned songs' harmonies and vamp on them... sometimes for an hour!
As the worship service progressed, the music had a hypnotic feeling on the congregation and a somewhat trance-like feeling on the musicians, reminding me of the Native American shamans that get worked up in a trance by the primal rhythms of his tribe.

I left sometime after because it got too silly though it was a very unique experience, to say the least.

My online nick is a (townes Van Zandt Song: MrMudd and MrGold)

Being raised in the 4 corners (monuement valley-Mexican hat) Country Poets was a pretty big influence. I love ballads, which is probably why im so strong in the classical and Spanish Guitar. (I Have a serious weakness for love ballads).

My friends get a bit shocked when i play, but soon it turns into Dude lets here some "Maiden" or "Metallica" or Halen" Which I really don't mind, and entertain them anyways. http://www.digitalvalhalla.net/misc/mus ... rupted.mp3 But it doesnt do much for me. Guitar for me is a private thing. I have a problem of not being able to sleep if I get a tune in my head, I'll rehash it till its perfect. I lose way too much sleep because of it. Flying for me was mixed in with allot of music rolling through my head. Eventually you learn to task concentrate with a tune. every event has a Tune. Timing and rythem. http://www.digitalvalhalla.net/misc/mus ... ultans.mp3

Did ya get to workout that African riff?
That's a nice pulsing rhythm.

That was only one theme and I will bring it upon myself to create additional music to compliment that sample... I love my hobby.

I feel the same as well: Every moment has its tune and I also concentrate on tasks with music; one leads to the other.

H. Crap, the rest of that also explains my exact feelings with music as well. I wouldn't think to share it with others.
To think someone has the same effect from music as I do.
...I never would've known.
