It's OK Sniper, happens sometime! You were just letting people have a little fun but, as you said, sometimes you have to put your foot down when things get outa' hand.

I've always stuck to the areas of the forum that interests me and not opened threads I know are not my style. You've done a great job with the forum...don't forget that... it's just time to "rell it back in" a bit I guess. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

The daily operation of WT ultimately falls on my shoulders. I greatly appreciate your assistance in policing the site, but it's time to ratchet the morality quotient just a little.

Profanity is OK so long as it's not constant or pointless, but nudity and blatantly sexual posts are no longer going to be acceptable here.

All mods at WT feel free to police the site according to their own judgement based on the above guidelines.

I'm not sure if Hawg fans can ever be counted as "normal". Seems to me the A-10 is interesting to 2 types of people. One type is people who like "misfits", stuff that is not the norm. The A-10 is an Air Force jet but it isnt fast or slick looking, it doesnt fit in with the "fast mover" crowd where a planes usefullness is determined by it's Mach number. The second type of people are the engineer types, people who live by the moto "form FOLLOWS function" it aint worth jack if it cant do it's job well no matter HOW nice it looks on the flight line. I think most of us fit into the "engineer type" catagory, even our current active "chic" is a gearhead lol. I bet a good portion of the folks here dissasembled various appliances in our youth much to the consternation of our parents lol
