Last Star Wars 'not for children'
The sixth and final Star Wars movie may not be suitable for young children, film-maker George Lucas has said.
He told US TV show 60 Minutes that Revenge of the Sith would be the darkest and most violent of the series.

"I don't think I would take a five or six-year-old to this," he told the CBS programme, to be aired on Sunday.

Lucas predicted the film would get a US rating advising parents some scenes may be unsuitable for under-13s. It opens in the UK and US on 19 May.

He said he expected the film would be classified PG-13 - roughly equivalent to a British 12A rating.

The five previous Star Wars films have all carried less restrictive PG - parental guidance - ratings in the US.
In the UK, they have all been passed U - suitable for all - with the exception of Attack of The Clones, which got a PG rating in 2002.

Revenge of the Sith - the third prequel to the original 1977 Star Wars film - chronicles the transformation of the heroic Anakin Skywalker into the evil Darth Vader as he travels to a Hell-like planet composed of erupting volcanoes and molten lava.

"We're going to watch him make a pact with the devil," Lucas said.

"The film is much more dark, more emotional. It's much more of a tragedy."

Ep II was pretty good i thought.

Ep V is still the best by far though IMO.

Yo BR, good to hear from you Dude...

Although if you think that Episode VI was any good, you can bugger off again <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>...

Episode I sucked.
Episode II was pretty good - Natalie in a ripped flight suit did it for me.
Episode IV was OK.
Episode V was the best by a country mile.
Episode VI was the biggest pile of crap. Ewoks = Cannon Fodder

No No No!

Episode I sucked, I agree.

Episode II also sucked, but Natalie is quite "attractive" (we're not allowed to say hot anymore, are we?)

Episode IV was truly the best, with the original cast: Wedge Antilles, "It didn't go in, it impacted on the surface" guy, Obi Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Han, Leah and Luke. Plus, it was only Darth Vader, no emperor in the picture yet. And come on, where else do you get to see a planet exploding?

Episode V was plain boring. True, Luke's education in the force was important, but it just wasn't interesting.

Episode VI was great, because it finally brings the happy ending. Vader turning into Anakin, Han and Leah hooking up, and Luke the Jedi. Not only that, the Empire, as well as the Emperor is dead and peace reigns across the galaxy again. I must admit that Admiral Ackbar was a little wierd though...

Speaking of which, I've got a whole bunch of friends that learn and chill with Natalie at Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Hang on, let just check that I haven't lost the plot.

Episode V was when Luke and Han/Leah spilt up. Han and crew go to Sky City, cue dog fights in asteroid belts and lots of action and Luke goes to sit in a swamp (not so exciting I admit).

Episode VI is full of Ewoks and trees - Nuff said...

If the above is the right way round...

V Rocks
VI Sucks

True, espidode VI may be full of Ewoks, but there is also much more action. Lets compare:

Battles: Battle at Hoth, Sky City VS Battle at Tattoine, Endor's moon, Death Star, Emperor/Darth VS Luke.

People: Luke in a swamp with furry green guy, Betrayal by Lando, Han getting cryogenically frozen VS Han being restored, Leah killing Jabba, Han and Leah hooking up, Luke becoming a Jedi, Anakin returning to the good side.

Creatures: Snow Goats, Cave Snow Monster, Asteroid Worm VS Jabba, Jabba's rat, the Beast in Jabba's castle, Sand sucking creature (execution scene), Ewoks (who by chance help Han and Leah kick the Imperial forces ass).

Now you tell me, can you seriously bring proof that refutes the above claim that Episode VI was better?

And for the record it was 8 months... <img src=newicons/anim_lol.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=newicons/saevil.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=newicons/anim_bannana.gif border=0 align=middle>

And getting pictures might be a little hard. Security don't like it... You can curse though. You won't be the first nor the last. Maybe you should get some pointers from my ex-girlfriend... ;) <img src=newicons/saevil.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=newicons/anim_bannana.gif border=0 align=middle>

So you're gonna discredit the whole movie based on some furry creatures, who help the Rebel forces kick the Empire's ass? Are you even aware of how crucial taking out that power station was???

BR,

LOL...

I need to park this until re-enforcements wake up to help you see the error of your ways.

But if you’re saying would I let one tiny little detail spoil the whole experience than yes, I would.

If I was in a bar, eyeing up a drop dead gorgeous chick, long blonde hair, great legs, an ass to die for and tits like zeppelins who then returned my gaze and invited me over only for me to find out she smelled lovely had perfect lips and liked to ***** with ******, ******,**** and her twin sisters would also like to ***** my ***** with their ***** and ***** and ****** ice cream, then to ****** with an egg whisk, *******, dog and **** until I ****** only to discover she had a dick...

Then yes, I would let that put me off the whole package...

Well, yes, that would scare you off a bit, but there's no basis for comparison! In one situation, you have something which many people find repulsive, and whilst this thing may eventually give you much pleasure, it will always be offset by the repulsiveness of it. In the other situation, you have something which most, if not all people find pleasing, and this pleasing thing does nothing but to continue to please by the actions it does. Based on this comparison, the Nafka Mina is that while many really wouldn't enjoy the blonde with the balls beacuse of one flawed charactaristic, many would enjoy the movie which you have discredited due to that one helpful charactaristic.

You need to bring forward proof for that statement to be complete. Just because one movie has an amazing line doesn't make it the best, and just because one movie has Ewoks doesn't make it the worst.
