I dont normally do this but...
<font size=6>GO SEE BATMAN BEGINS!!!</font id=size6>
It might be the best movie I have ever seen! At leaste in this genre.
If you have any interest in the Batman character you will be nearly awe struck at how they bring the whole varied story and it's elements together in a sensible and very enjoyable way. If you have no idea what Batman is, it wont matter, it just "works" as a movie. Believe the hype folks this one is a keeper, I WILL buy the DVD when it is available and I only have two other DVDs lol.

As good as the first Batman movie was, I was dissapointed with it, because it basically became the Jack Nicholson show.
Keaton excellently captured the apparent mentle quirkiness/illness we thought a character like "The Bat Man" would have to have. THIS movie shows us another option, that the Batman character might be more sane than we thought possible, that there may in fact be a method to his madness.

Dont expect great fight scenes, they are more stylized here and are not an integral part of what this movie is all about. Instead of the staged "two moves and an edit" type of fighting with lots of gravity defying "wire work" we are used to in movies, we experiance the fights more as a feeling or an emotional event than a physicle contest.

The special effects ARE great here, but this is a story that could be told just as well on a theatricle stage, it's about the story NOT the action ( plenty of action in the movie but it is SO much more than an action pic ).

If you realised Seabiscuit was NOT about horse racing, then I promise you will "get" this movie.

We see Bruce Wayne's alter ego built brick by brick, purposly, deliberatly to achieve a purpose. We see WHY a wealthy, privaleged billionaire is able to don a mask and fight crime, WHY he should do it at night, and WHY it should be as a bat. We see where his gadgets come from and why he is able to get them and why he needs them instead of a gun. We also see why Gothom City became such a magnet for whack-job criminals.

Dont miss this one folks, theatre, DVD, TV wherever you need to see it SEE IT

Couldn't agree more...I saw it Saturday afternoon & was VERY pleased...best Batman movie in my opinion...hands down! Christian Bail played all "three" characters great...From the cocky/spoiled Bruce Wayne that the public sees, to the concerned Bruce Wayne Alfred sees, and of course Batman.....

30Mm jr took me to see it Father's Day...wow. And when he saw the new Batmobile he said "I gotta get me one of those!" I thought they could have shortened the set-up part at the begining, a little, but definitely a must get on DVD. And Michael Caine nakes a great Alfred.
