<img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle> I am so embarrased I dont even know if I want to talk about it. Anyhoo, you know that I majored in european history. My favorite anciebt story from Plutarch's Lives has always been that of the life of Theseus. You know drinkin buddy of Hercules, slayer of the Minotaur and the guy that stole the kings daughter ? I also loved the fact that the Royal Navy had an HMS Theseus back during the age of fighting sail. So I wanted to name my jet the same thing. I thought on a different plane it had meaning. Plutarch said in Plutarch's Lives that Theseus set out from home with the intention of doing harm to no man, but he promised to visit it upon any man that offered it up first. So the rationalization set in. Our A-10's realy exist exist only to protect our guys. If you dont mess with our guys, you wont feel our wrath. But by golly if you offer up first we will wreck you. The idea was great and what I envisioned was a door that would have been like the Bravehawg door. The artist that did it was highly recommended but had no vision. The door ended up terribly done and was more of a laughable piece than anything I really wanted. I had to put it on because of time but I couldnt wait to get it off. I also wanted a jet named 'Dreadnought, The Last of the Many' because I thought the last of the big gun jets should be named after the first of the big gun ships.

By this time tomorrow I shall have gained either a pearage or Westminster Abbey........Nelson
