Gasoline in Valdosta, and surrounding areas is now $3.09, and up to $3.30 per gallon. When will this end????? Our thoughts, and prayers to all who suffered the effects of the storm. Richard and Kay Ray

I just filled up my Grand Prix GTP for $36. Late last night the same station has premium gas for $2,78, now its up to $3.19 within a matter of hours! Gotta love having a non-naturally aspirated vehicle where premium is required!

Gas here went from $2.69 for Regular unleaded Sunday too $2.74 this morning to $3.19 by supper.iI was told it would be $3.50 by Friday
Last week it was $2.59
I have 50 gallons in the Saddle pump tank.I didnt tell Dad I filled it up 2 weeks ago ($2.49) for the Harvest season. "Merry Christmas"

My sister who lives in town got a letter today saying their natural gas prices are going to go up 40% by DEC.
I'm so glad I told the wife,I was contracting our LP GAS for the winter, she said would it really pay to do it? since last year I only used alittle more than 1/2 our contract.
I told her you never know,so I bought 750 gallons of LP GAS at $1.27 a gallon. last year I contracted 900 at $1.23 and used 545 gallons.
So I'm a HAPPY MO-FO!
I just wished I would of bought K-1 Earlier for the heaters.

I hear that Hawg.....I have 2 vehicles that won't take regular gas, both V8 engines get very thirsty! The highest price that i have seen north of philadelphia was $3.09 today but i'm sure it will be higher by tommorrow.

do the math and check out some octane booster at Wal-Mart or wherever, might make up the diff on a tank of gas and let you run regular. I had to do it when we had the Marquis

A 9mm MAY expand, but a 45 will NEVER shrink!

Some people get very rich these days!

In Germany it´s a little bit more expensive<img src=newicons/tard.gif border=0 align=middle>

1 liter premium is 1,40€
That would be 5,29€ per gallon - 6,45$ !

Yikes that's steep Homer.

UK prices would be about $6.22 per US Gallon.

I guess our American friends are more pissed at the rate of increase (although the actual price is not good either) seeing how it seems to have gone up nearly 30% in days <img src=newicons/anim_shock.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=newicons/tard.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle>...

I read that GW has signed off release of reserves from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to cover lack of production from the GoM.

I hope they get those rigs and refineries on stream soon.

I'd hate to see RG down to only ONE V8 <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>...

LOL, it's not only V-8's that want the good stuff, my 3 liter Bavarian Manure Wagon uses it too. Now, I have to do the math before I go anywhere..do I take the regular burning truck at 17 MPG and $3.01/gallon or the 27 MPG premium burning BMW at $3.21/gallon. Wonder what it'll cost tomorrow?

LOL, I like my Bavarian Manure Wagon...

Although it´s just a 2 liter oil burner.
It takes 6,5 Liter/100km (Autobahn max. speed everytime it is possible)
Converted that should be a little bit more than 35 MPG.
Not too bad.

perhaps you would change your mind <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>if you test drive the 330d BMW... Much more power than the 330i.

Homer, I've got a 330Ci (E-46 body style) and the 330d still isn't available here..did I mention the proposed $55,000 sticker price for the 330d? I can buy a lot of premium for the extra $7500.

Old Chief,
I didnt know that there is a price difference, in Germany both models cost the same... Now that I know I can surely understand you chose the 330i, and this is a very nice car, too. I like the BMW 6-cylinders. (loved my 325 convertible...)

Let's face it, the two of you are perfect for each other.

But not the environment or the current gas shortage <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>...

RG please say yes. You'll make Snipe very happy and then he might stop taking it out on us Hoglets...
