Matt, let me add my heartfelt thanks that you made it out alive. From what you've posted, I'm afraid the horror stories are going to continue and when it's all said and done, we're going to be a lot less than proud.

I've stopped watching any interviews with Michael Brown (FEMA director) after his comment that "we didn't know the Superdome was being used as a shelter". If that's true, he, and his agency, were probably the only ones that didn't. BAH, I don't want to start a bashing thread, there'll be plenty of time and plenty of ammo for that.

I'm glad he at least didn't have to put any of the firearms 101 refresher course i gave him via IM as the storm appoached to use.

The main thing is that he and his family are OK and safe. Everything else is secondary to that.
