Shouldn't the smoke 'n flame come before the slug exits?

That part may have been better received if it was the girl on the side of a WW2 Bomber. Sounds sexist but true.

I've had my avatar hosted from my geocities page since day one. I didn't realize some computors may block that out (they do at work). Changed it to be hosted by Photobucket. Work now?

As I recall the only barrel that fires is the one that happens to be at the 7:00 O'Clock position.

A 9mm MAY expand, but a 45 will NEVER shrink!

Several of you have brought up some of the same issues I thought about while making it however due to the limited file size it would be difficult (for me) to make it 100% accurate and maintain the perception that the barrels are rotating.

As for the winking, well that’s because this particular A-10 is actually a girl. And like the sirens of greek mythology she’s trying to lure you into your death.

JackB – Your avatar shows up, I think what Matt was referring to is the fact that this one is animated.

Yours is not animated on my screen. It's just sitting there, like a lazy old retired TSgt I know.

So you say it's not animated on your screen? Well from the other replys to the thread I'd say the animation is working and would guess the problem there in lies with your computer. However since a lazy old ret. TSgt isn't there to troubleshoot the system for you I suspect you'll continue going through life with simple plain old images.

No, the rapidly expanding gas is behind the projectile pushing it out of the barrel. So the projectile exits first and then the flash and smoke.

Oh, burn, I didn't see that coming. I certainly should have though. I like all the phases you've used on me. In fact, I used one of yours the other day: "The Air Force pays me for what I know, not what I do"

Jack, can't take credit for that phrase I got it from a wise old TSgt/MSgt who frequents this board.

ROFL, nice to see I'm remembered for something! <img src=newicons/anim_lol.gif border=0 align=middle> A couple more you might be able to use....

If told you are late or wrong about something from a subordinate then just inform them...

A supervisior is never late only momentarily delayed.
A supervisior is never wrong only misinformed.

LOL, that's the difference between the Army and the AF.

When a subordinate points out an NCO is wrong he gets a hearty, "Shut the fuck up private" for his troubles.

It could go that way in the AF also depending on the subordinates attitude.
