We aquired this jet from Battle Creek last week in trade for our jet 78-640 which is being tested at Nellis now and will be transfered to Battle Creek sometime in the near future.

Here is a pic I got when I started the acceptance inspection..

Definitely and oldie but a goodie! That door must be pretty damn old since that "110 TFG" is still on there! I will make sure that it is preserved and stays on there.

That art has been on 129 since about 1991-92 It was our longest lasting doorart! I just returned from a month at Nellis. I worked 640 along with the other test birds. We have B.C. engine covers on it but still barnes markings. It looks like it needs a little TLC but i'll bet it's a fair trade!

Nice doorart.
Question about doorarts. Who is the (wo)man that decide what is coming on the door? The pilot or those who paint it? And is there a censor on some ideas or is everything allowed?
