Well everyone...you probably had a betting pool on when this Mooslim was going down. Bet you never thought it'd be while working an honest job

Listen to this shit:

On Saturday I went over to a local business that was hosting an exhibit by two handlers from a wildlife rescue foundation, and was hired by a woman running a nearby Massage Parlor to snap Photographs of the birds, because she knows an artist who could make paintings based on my pics.

So I took them, and sold them for a check for ten dollars. I then asked if she was also interested in two pics of a Peregrine Falcon. Which she declined buying from me. So that job was done and I got paid for it.

Earlier today, when I thought that store would be open again..I went to offer those two pics in return for something other than money, most likely a 5x7 or 5x8 painting. The massage Parlor was closed, but a store that shares the same building was open. So I walked in and asked if the woman who works at healing hands was in, the store owner of that establishment said she wasn't in.

Then she noticed I had those pics. She asked if I was looking to sell them, then started bitching about how the Red Creek animal handlers "were offended I took pics...very offended!" Then she went to work on her window display and grumbled something.

Eh, I never even intended to do business with her in the first place, so I just left. But I did e-mail her a little later with comments on how hospitiable she is to people walking into her store. (e-mail convo in progress follows):

Hello again.

I was the person who walked through your shop door and was warmly greeted this morning. It's a pity I really only wanted to offer two extra photographs of a Peregrine Falcon to the resident artist that shares the building with you, in return for something other than money, otherwise I would of been certain to become a loyal patron of your shop.

But don't worry about Healing Hands not being open..I'll just catch someone working there some other time. Aside from your upbeat, friendly attitude, I figured I'd offer something that might prove usefull to your business and customer relations. Not that you'd probably need it, seeing as how they are both so damn ood already...but have you ever heard of a book penned by one Donna Fenn titled Alpha Dogs: How to make your small business leader of the pack? Just a friendly suggestion to you, that might possibly even improve your people skills. If only in the slightest.

Well now, I'm done praising your small business...and I'd be sure to mention it to others, in the interest of boosting your reputation to possible comsumers.

Warmest regards
Tom Linkens

P.s. as a visual aid, here's link to an image of the book you might find usefull for your business.

In light of the fact that I had three complaints about you from the public on Saturday and concern expressed by the presenters, I really don't care what you say. I will however forward your email to the authorities and your ISP and also to the people that expressed the complaints on Saturday.

And so you know, there is NO RESIDENT artist that shares the building with me.

Yeah do whatever you want.

1. I was far from the only person taking pictures of the event.

2. The woman working at healing hands paid me for six of my photographs, she said someone she knows or is related to is an artist who could use those photographs for paintings.

3. The handlers from Red Creek brought out the Peregrine Falcon after I reminded them, and the male handler even got the Vulture to do it's "Eagle Pose" without my asking him to. And they even agreed to give me credit for those photos on thier site that you claim they were offended by.

And 4. I was doing business with a woman working at Healing Hands. Not you. And last time I checked Photography was a legitimate business and certainly not a crime.

Plus if you want you can have my name to report to the authorites because I was hired by the woman at Healing Hands to take photographs and was written a check for ten dollars for six photographs, and wanted to work out a deal for two more in excahnge for something besides money since she said she didn't have a lot and didn't want to actually buy the last two photographs from me.

Now if you'll excuse me I'll be getting some e-mails and any other proof that I don't deserve to be on death row because you say so together.

So I guess I should be awaiting the Feds and a trip to Gitmo now that I dared to walk into a shop run by someone who seems to hate people photographing animals?

That woman sounds crazy to me. What kind of business is she running?

I think walking into a massage parlor to "offer those two pics in return for something other than money" is where the prosecutors will raise an eyebrow

oops. I meant offering to trade two photogrpahs of a Peregrine Falcon for either a 5x7 or 5x8 painting.
