Well guys it is hurricane season again. Getting ready to possibly deploy south for hurricane chris. My home is above the flood plan now so I might swim this year but i will not loose everything.

Anybody wants to come down on the gulf coast with me.

Have fun, and watch out for sharks!

I know the feeling! Although we most likely get hit by any hurricane we still have the other stuff associated. I am getting my disaster plan together. Long hours!! Two years ago I put in almost 72 straight hours!

I am going to care as a paramedic. My home is in North LA and safe. Goose you guys fought the wars. I fight with disasters <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> That is just what I do for a living. This years I will be getting paid for the fun. It is not written in stone where I will be but I will be very busy this storm Chris is really strengthing fast, may even be worse than Katrina.

this year going be ready to swim and have my own personal meds lol.

If the storm takes the current path and ends up to west of new orleans, well lets just say it will be flooded again if not worse.

Remember Katrina was not a direct hit on new orleans and passed to the east the dry side of the storm. On top of it most of the pumps in the city are still broken.

Areas that did not flood last year will under worst case scenrio.
