Not likely, deaths in lifting are highly exagerated at best, 350lbs on a bench press is not that much weight, as long as it doesnt land right on your head you'd survive. The bar ends up on his throat and they ( another guy rushes in to help at the end ) most likely just tilted it off to the side and let him roll off the other side of the bench.

in High School ( a million years ago ) I benched 225lbs, could lift my 200lb dirt bike over my head and leg pressed over 1000lbs, doing little else besides bicycling and MX'ing all day long can do wonders for leg and arm developement lol ( no ass widening, time wasting computers back then either <img src=newicons/anim_lol.gif border=0 align=middle> )
