I want to start a new thread here and keep it going on, well, indefinitely.

Just a word of wisdom or quote of the day. Something witty, or silly, or profound, or reflective, or relevant, or whatever else. If you visit WT and see there's no quote since your last visit, please do keep it going.

But i'd like to see a self-enforced -yes, that means you too .44HP ;)- <b>1 quote per day per poster</b> rule maintained.

I'll start it off with one:

<font color=yellow><font size=4><i> "The quickest way of ending a war is to lose it."</i></font id=size4>
<b>~Orwell</b></font id=yellow>

I guess this is as good a place as any to say hi to Sniper. Thanks for inviting me to this board. I'm a regular poster on WAB with lots of hot air to vent. So I figure I join another board to shoot the breeze.

Not really a quote, but also legendery words.

Question from Goering in the Battle of Britian: What do we need to beat England?

Answer: Ein Geschwader Spitfires (a squadron Spitfires).
-Said by Adolf Galland, youngest German General in WW2 and Ace.

Salute Dutchy

"It is said that if a murder isn't solved in the first seventy two hours, there's a good chance it never will be. Now if someone were to send Lon Horiuchi...would the FBI even be able to compile a list of possible suspects in that amount of time?"

Not really a quote, just something I pondered recently.
