Man these two are so close I almost didn’t list them on different aircraft! One from Osan and the other one from New Orleans. Do you think they are a coincidence are maybe the same pilot/CC had them done on two separate aircraft??

Definitely not a coincedence. Since OS is AD and NO is Guard, I would bet it's more likely that one CC or Pilot jsut saw the others and liked it rather than it being the same CC or Pilot. But I'm guessing. Let us know if you find out.

EDIT: Do you know when the Osan door was painted? I can ask around of who was there then if they know whos jet it is.

Jackb, it was in 2005, after the image you send me of 183 (The Guardian) in 2004. BTW the NO jet was also in 2005 so they were both the same year.

The horse with the knight is almost the same. Only real cartoon artist can make out of their mind two same pictures, I think he (or she) used a sheet for the outlines and coloured it later. A few details are different, the hair of the horse and the ground between the legs. Only the background (the Warthog(s)) is really different. It looks to me as one artist that made this, that is mine conclusion.
I hope you can find what and who is painting this. Because it looks good, both of them.

Salute Dutchy

I agree Dutchy, I'll keep looking into it and maybe can get some answers.

Dice, did you recently post some F-16 Comm/Nav door art? We had one from the Virginia ANG drop in and it had almost the exact same art work on it.
