Downloading the latest update to XP, it asked if I wanted to upgrade to IE 7. Being the dumbass I am, I said yes. Wrong answer. Too much wrong to write about it but in a nutshell, it would boot but I couldn't do anything else without it locking up. I couldn't even get it into safe mode to delete the upgrade. I'm now in the process of flattening the hard drive because that's the only way I can salvage the computer. I swear, my next computer is going to be a Mac. End of rant.

I use FireFox on my desktop, had an issue with it on this particular laptop so I've stuck with IE.

IE 7 was working pretty good, but you guys talk so much about FIREFOX I tried it out and its Really Better than IE7, so its my browser now.
Plus my Privacy Guardian program is set-up for it and Opera whatever that is?
OC I did have trouble at first getting IE7 to load up but I rebooted 2 times and it started working.

I just cant seem to get Media Player 10 to work.

I've been using Firefox for quite a while. It is by far the best browser I've ever used. I would never use a mac though, hell, I'd rather work on the F-16 than own a mac.

I use Firefox V2.0 exclusively.

I love it. :)

On the FIREFOX what down loads or ADD-ON s did you get for it?
I'm still just using the basic con fig.

SKU, I had the same problem with IE7 locking up, I thought it was just me.

Chief, I heard from a good source that VISTA is going to be a better
"XP" version and more stable and people will like it better.

I still like "ME" better than XP though.

I started using IE7 and have had no problems. One thing I heard about Vista is if you don't have a very fast machine you should wait until you do to get Vista.
