The guys over at Aerosoft who are making the A-10 want to do up some scenery such as a range. Besides Bollen in PA, what other ranges would the A-10 use for target practice? I read that Bollen is used by the 103rd, 104th and 113th.

Tonopah, Nellis, White Sands? Are there ones used depending on where you are stationed?

Hope this can be answered

There are almost too many to mention. The most likely candidate (to me) would be the BMGR complex out left of Tucson.

Alaska has some serious "scenery" out at their ranges (so I've heard)...What I wouldn't do for "a view from above"...

There's a gunnery range in MO, near Whiteman.

Pick ranges near A-10 bases. You might look at overseas bases. I know there's one in Belgium that teh Spang Hawgs use all the time, I can't remember what it is though.

The biggest range we use on almost a daily basis is at Fort Drumm in Watertown, New York. The Army Aviation Depot side is called Wheeler Sac Air Field I believe. It is a live range for almost everything except 2000 pounders and Mavs. We shoot everything else there. There are some awesome TDY stories that come out of Drumm.

By this time tomorrow I shall have gained either a pearage or Westminster Abbey........Nelson

No TDY stories like your adventures north of the border in Kingston, etc...

What a shame! Who can resist a trip up north? And all the entertainment!

It's Pampa Range, near the village of Helchteren.
