Haven't forgotten you guys, I'm still lurking but never have anything meaningful to add to your fantastic Hog knowlege base.

We have, however, finally finished our feature on last years Hawgsmoke. Here for your perusal and savage mauling!

Basically it's lots of Hog photos and some background to the competition, to add to Philippes page he managed to complete ages before we did!

Warthogs rule!

Cheers,
Kev

Loved the web site. Congadulations to the 442nd on hosting in 2006. I hoped it would come back to Alexandria.

An excellent report!
A great mix of pictures to give the flavour (or should that be flavor)? of the event.
The name Cliff Latta rings a bell......he was the 81st TFW Demo Pilot for 1988.

Thanks guys.

The 442nd hosting Hawgsmoke 2006 is still provisional but I hope they get it. It'll be at Salina Airfield if it goes to Kansas (in the news recently as the start and end of the record breaking Virgin Global Flyer flight). So keeping up the tradition of holding it at an austere base, not their homebase.

Hanging out with a couple of Hawg units next week so we'll have more pro-A-10 stuff on the website in due coarse.

Obviously you get a mention Dice, you're the main man!

Cheers,
Kev

I hope we don't repeat the Hawgwash exeperience again! I've seen enough Hogs in the rain for a long time. But I know we'll survive the bayous and else! New Orleans here we come!

Kevin, Excellent site, throughout. It was my pleasure to have met you, and Nigel during HogSmoke 04, and hope to be able to see ya'll in 06. Tell Nigel I still have the beer coasters he gave me, and they are still in use. Once again, Great work, and keep up the good work.

The 442/303 had a good time at Hawgsmoke/wash 2004. I hope to go to the next one too!

Kev

Although we won't hook up on the Spang trip, maybe I can squeeze away for Hawgsmoke 2006. If the 442d is hosting it, shouldn't it be in Missouri and not Kansas? <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>

Either way, how far can that be from San Antonio on a motorcycle? See you there, wherever 'there' might be!

Cheers! M2

Dice

No fear, it's still on, it is just that Kevin won't be unable to make it. That's too bad, as judging by his outstanding work at Hawgsmoke I am sure he would have taken some superb shots.

Cheers! M2
