This was the last A-10 built and had my name on it for awhile when I was based with the 74th TFS, 23rd TFW at England AFB.

I just got the new A-10 book by Don Logan, and it doesn't show this jet with any current units. I also checked the D-M \"Boneyard\" list and it doesn't show up there either.

Anyone have any definite proof of where this jet is today?

Thanks in advance,
Hitch

GEH737, if you have anything to add to the history of this aircraft (pictures, stories, ect) feel free to send it in and I'll add it to the history of "The last tiger."

I think the 'newest' Hog they ever had at Woodbridge was 82-658, which was with the 78th TFS.

Prkii, yes it was at Moody, if you read the link posted by Dutchy you'll see she was at England, DM, Moody, and back to DM.

Hitch is having login issues but should be back posting soon.

I know TSgt (ret.) Tom Gero was the DCC for a while at DM. I'll fire him an E-mail and maybe he can pop on and give his input. If I remember right, he was pretty keen on her history.

He hit the road for GA yesterday evening, so you may see him real soon. He's got a job lined up there at WR working F-15s. Next time I get ahold of him, I will be sure to pass it on.

I heard last night from Andy at Nellis what happened with KW. They had said when we were TDY there in November he wasn't gonna get boned too bad. That sucks.

Could someone clue me in on what happen to KW (email or PM) I always thought he was a good guy and would hate to see him get boned for some dumb shit.

Lastraven, let KW know I said hi and hope him the best down in Ga.

jack,
I sent Dice an meail as well. BTW, he didn't really get \"boned\", his career was just (Honorably) cut shorter than expected. He's actually doing quite well now.

LastRaven &/or PK,

If you talk to KW, let him know \"Pop-a-Cap\" says hello and if he needs anything to give me a holler. Oh and tell him he still OWES me for his first trip to Vega$ [banana]
