Which jet still flying has the fewest hour. i would have to think it would be 971 at osan or 985 at spang ( I think thats the right tail #)

oh yeah, it was awesome. There was talk on the ground about Mott trying to break an altitude record but I'm not sure if they did that or not. Tanker was very crowded with family, dignitaries and the such and the two side windows weren't cleaned very well so shoot possibilities were tough.

I'm just downloading them now and will post a few for everyone in a bit.

Thanks again Billy, it was great hanging with you guys all day and then able to drink the O'Club and NCO club [banana]

Dave you were so cocked at the end of the day ! The way you were dancing on the pool table half naked with the Colonels daughter an hour after they landed. It was a bloody riot, about wet myself laughing.

Does somebody know where I can find pictures. I tried on the website of the airbase, but there was (when I looked) nothing to see.

And what is the flying record today?

It was quite a challenge to get in position for some good shooting. With everyone in the tanker wanting to see the hogs on the boom and on the wings! Billy, the 104th came through again and mission was accomplished :D !
Spent a few hours again today and had lunch in your first class chow hall.

I did post a few teasers on my website for those interested.

Great pics guys. BTW if you don't mind sharing what type of camera/lenses do you guys use for your photoshoots? I'm looking to upgrade my camera and was wondering what to go to next.

Thanks everyone,

My camera is just a Nikon D70, just picked up the lens on Thursday. Its a Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 wide angle. Pretty happy with it so far

Nice Jet Billy, it photographs very nicely at 22,000 ft  I'll be working on the pictures for an article for Combat Aircraft. I'll make sure I'll get some printed and burned onto a disk and out to you guys as soon as I can. 8)

My friend Ken Middleton was on the tower and got the take offs and arrivals. Bummed we missed the low approaches.

I'm late to get here, (other matters) but those are some GREAT PHOTO'S Dave!!!!!.
Yup I spotted the \"OLD GIRL\" :D :D :D she does look  naked.

Billy she looks good, but she needs her makings
EL on the tail, Red tail caps, 23rdTFW patch, EURO-1 paint job and those
BEAUTIFUL TEETH! :D
Oh I forgot ,I was having a \"Flash Back\"

Yes she has been that clean before, in 87 when she got a \"TOTAL PAINT JOB\"and door art and I had put Staff on a few months before in 12/86.
She was getting ready to be \"TIGER 2\" when Capt Goose left for Korea the next month.
The \"TWINS\" 9223 and 0223\" where being taken off do to \"CG\" with 9223 and was going to DEPOT and 0223 had such low hours.

We had the Wing Kings Jets which was 80-0164 as \"TIGER 1\" and then 80-0166 was \"TIGER 2\"

But she still is a \"Beautiful Jet Billy\" I'm glad to know she's been in good hands all these years.

Goose
