I remember those days , When the Spec's took over Red's Snack bar they made alot of money and it paid for our Christmas party every year and they had some good stuff, I don't think there was much they didn't have ,then they bought the Toaster oven so you could either \"Nuke OR Toast.

MAC was the only place besides Nellis I ever really saw \"Roach Coaches\", well Basic and Tech School.

We always had the choice too of the in-flight kitchen , You always picked a #3 (Cold Chicken) or a #2(Ham &Cheese). Yokota AB would give you 1/2 a Chicken plus if you wanted \"All White or Dark\" and if you were going out of the Country they would replace your \"Fresh Fruit\" with either an extra Candy bar or extra sandwich.
You just had to know how to \"Play\" the Food Game.

I still have over a dozen \"Church Keys\" in my tool box from those days.

Glad to hear you made it to Utah safe and sound. I work swings but, could take a few hours off one night to meet y'all at the club. We could also meet on a weekend if that works better for you amd mark...hell I'm easy...you get settled-in and we will work something out before the first snow.

I'm Currently Exceeding MTOW in the 300C at the ever pleasent 108.0 deg. Doors off weather at KOGD. Maybe i'll literally drop in for a brew and a Bite!
