....I am finished with IFF here at Sheppard. That means Saturday we are getting in the minivan to go to Arizona. My computer is getting packed away for a couple of months until our future assignment becomes more clear. I start A10 training the end of this month and am looking forward to not having someone else in my aircraft the next time I fly....

I am sure in a couple months I will report back with some stories about how training is going and what that big GAU is like to shoot...

Good luck bro. I'm sure you will do fine. Just remember, approach this with the open mind of a student, not the 1000+ hour FAIP. Hope the abbreviated checklist works for you.

Just remember not to drop the F-bomb over the radio like I did my first time. I couldn't help it, it was like being devirginized all over again.
