I gotta say this is one of the coolest ideas I've ever heard, a self contained guidance system for almost anything with NATO lugs lol, a poor mans JDAM/JSOW, the export <i>potential</i> is huge to say the leaste. I suppose adding a small turbo with about 30 minits of fuel is about as complicated as a back yard "spud gun"!! Hope we sell a bunch of them ( with a federation no-go code installed of course lol )

with further development, the weapon may render cruise missiles obsolete, after all, the Tomahawk needs a big aircraft to deliver it if it is to be air launched, the long shot looks to be able to fit under a Tornado's wing.

um...Tomahawk isnt air launched ALCM and CALCM are, and I dont think a 100 mile weapon will supplant a 1500+ mile cruise missle. AF is currantly shopping for a stealthy missle that can be launched from an F-22 and have a 1000mile range, which speakes to thier worry about future Soviet SAM systems(needing an F-22 to get within 1000 miles to launch it).
