I hope you guys bought a copy and have been playing it as much as I have. It's a beautiful-looking sim and a ton of fun flying the Hog!

I also noticed a couple of our WT regulars in the credits. :)

Here's a few screenshots...

My first opinion:

If got it in tha house for almost two weeks and have tryed it serveral times. If got a first conclusion about LockOn

- A lot of eye candy
- Nigh System specs wanted (I've got a good workstation, but can't put all the sliders to the max)
- A-10 seems to fly a bit neurotic (feels tricky on the stick)
- Patches/updates wanted
- No problems with win 2000 but hear people complaining about win xp
- ugly cockpit when you compare it with freeware/payware cockpits for falcon4

My conclusion: best A-10 sim available at this moment and lets wait for Falcon OIR if that sim can beats LockOn

ervani, I hold out no hope for the A-10 in Falcon OIR. The few screenshots I've seen show F-16 avionic in an A-10 HUD and they can't, or will not, answer even basic questions about the A-10 in this sim.

If you look on their forums you will see myself and others have asked about the A-10 only to be ignored. I don't belive they (anyone on the team) even know the differance between a LASTE 4.0 and a LASTE 6.0 A-10 so how can they build a realistic model of either?

The A-10 in OIR will be just like the F-16 in Falcon, a mixture of aircraft models and suites numbers and it will represent no A-10 with has ever sat on a USAF flightline.

Ha Dice, I'm following the topics on the G2 Interactive forum, we're posting on the same topics overthere..... think we've to wait what OIR will bring us... I don't have the hope it will be a good Hawg sim but you never know... let's hope the best

Is this a "study" or a "survey" sim?

I've seen a video clip of LOMAC where an A-10 is on a strafing run. I turned up the sub-woofers and raised the volume; I had goose bumps.

They got the engine hum of the hog dead-on; it's as beautiful a sound as a Beethoven symphony.

tritonal

I'm downloading those vids as we speak, your comments make me even more anxious to hear what the A-10 sounds like in LOMAC!

Cheers! M2
