Please don't discuss active maintenance issues on the board. There is an AF sponsored message board for this type of question.

"face it....perhaps your only purpose in life is to serve as a warning to others!"

Hey Dog email me with the particulars and we can bat it around with some of the crew chiefs here. Maybe we can figure it out. Sounds interesting. M&M is right though we gotta do it on channel. There is an official A10 maintenance website that someone here posted. We can try that.
Found it it is https://hillnet.hill.af.mil/hafb/alc/lc/a10forum/

If you're active duty you have an AFETS rep who should be involved in troubleshooting your problem as well.
My other suggestion is you make sure you do a proper ops check of the Anti-skid system IAW the job guide. Then follow the TS. The hydraulics on the jet are pretty straight forward.

Being responsible means sometimes pissing people off.

It means that as of late we have had people coming to this page that feel a need to talk smack as soon as they start posting. While we welcome your presence, really we do, we ask that you be respectful of the other posters. Some of them like Goose, is a longstanding member on the page and a well respected A10 mechanic of old. A troll usually gets banned iin a hurry if he or she doesnt respect the rules.

i talk 'smack' cause i worked the hog for 14 years. Woodbridge 87-90, Myrtle Beach 90-92, Pope 95-95 and Moody 95-2001. I think I have earned the right. I worked with dice and probally many others on this board throughout the years. Besides, adding air pressure to a tire is always a good corrective action! IAW 1A-10A-crewdog. No offense....just having some fun

Fun is permitted. Like I said we just arent accustomed to having someone new taking one liners to members. I just said that the people that do are usually trolls looking to be pains inthe posteriors rather than people looking to contribute. And we are rather sensitive about Goose. Feel free to join in the fray here. However the rules do apply. Active maintenance issues are off limits. Unless its like Malfunction Code A799 / R squared the stick actuator.

jbpig, nice to see you posting, I got your email on the door art, thanks for the info!
jbpig is (was) a good crew dawg, good person, and a friend. You have to understand jbpig that we have had a rash of trolls here and the respones you got was...well...natural. In fact some come on and act like that "airman" who just PCSed into the squadron and knows everything...you know the type of person I'm talking about! Goose is a good guy and I'm sure you two will get along.

Thanks Dice, I have been lurking here for a long time. Glad to help. The artist of some of thoes doors is currently in al salem as a loadmaster now, I will pick his brain and see if he remembers what tail number garfield and odie were on.

Dice have you ever told these guys about the day you brought in your "replacement a-10" unknowingly? That would be a good topic!

Yea, that's the one. I know you know phaseman but, do you know who prkiii is? That's what I meant, ask phaseman who prkiii is, I think you will remember him from Moody.
