Again, as I clear my office and computer files, I can find things I’ve meant to do but never got around to. This one is something I did, and any of you who was involved with naming Dru’s painting, may want to do.

I printed out the two threads where he came on and allowed us to help name his A-10 painting “Thunderstruck”. I placed the printout in a document protector and attached it to the back of my framed print. This will increase the value of your print because it shows the history of how the painting got it’s named and, how and why, your print got signed and personalized. Anytime you can show something special about your print above anyone else’s helps the value of your print.

It may not increase the value much but I’m sure it will be worth the price of the paper and document protector!

I made an effort long ago and nobody ever got back to me on it. Considering TinyGiant mentioned "two winners," I can only assume the artist posted the challenge on another website and the other guy got the favored first. I just get a kick out of seeing it in magazines and knowing I suggested the title. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=newicons/icon_hog.gif border=0 align=middle>

Horrido-
I know you can contact Dru via his website. I believe there is a link on the site to contact him. In the past I have used it and talked to him about the hog and "Thunderstruck" and he did personally reply to me. His site is Drublair.com Hope this helps.

If you call the 800 # Horrido, ask for Andy. I've talked with him a couple of times and always had good results to my questions, etc. He knows about all of us and the naming thing.

Called him up and got things squared away. Really friendly folks, and they have one put aside waiting for me. Thanks for encouraging me to pursue the matter.

I knew Dur would make it right, he's one of the best people (and his staff) I've ever met or had the pleasure of dealing with. You named it and you should have a print!! <img src=newicons/bounce.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=newicons/bounce.gif border=0 align=middle>
