I've desided to keep the 20 I have for myself! <img src=newicons/anim_lol.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=newicons/anim_bs.gif border=0 align=middle>




They didn't come-out as well as I hoped (does anything ever) because Horatio Hogsbreath is not in color as I thought he would be only the flag behind him is, which makes it hard to see the detail. I will not go into how or why this happen only say it did. <img src=newicons/pain10.gif border=0 align=middle> I know the only way I will ever be happy is to do it myself and don't leave it to someone else. One good thing is I don't belive the "ultimate" A-10 coin has been made so I have another possable project for later down the line!

Also the GAU-8A barrels are "dimpled" in the middle but looks pretty good. They do have the rifling but it's very subdued and hard to see.

Some positive notes, the coin is thinner than a lot I see and will be very good for carrying around in your pocket/wallet. Also the color is a burnt metal which doesn't show very well in the pics below but looks very nice in real life.

Yojimbo, I will place your's in the mail tomorrow so you should get it in a week or so. Anyone else who has sent me money already and don't like the coin I will send you a full refund if you like because I feel I will still have no problem getting rid of my 18 on the open market! <img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle>

Thanks again Dice. I've spent countless hours catching up on a lot of the forums topics. You guys really know your stuff. Makes me remember a lot of things about the A-10 that I have forgotten the last eight years or so. And thanks for looking into the whole coin thing....

We didn't get mail yesterday because of about 1" of snow! What a load of BS! Actually, a bit of trivia for you, that saying was never, as many believe, the official motto of the Post Office Department. It is just inscribed on the post office building in New York City...

So M2 is still anxiously awaiting his cool A-10 coin!
