No offense, Dice, but too vanilla.
Those front quartering shots are similar to Mr. Blairs' 'Thunderstruck' (my login name has nothing to do with the painting, by the way

and it would be cool to see some stuff blowing up. The only way that would be possible is if the A-10 was flying directly over the target (again, similar to Mr. Blair's original A-10 piece - very cool, but look close and #2 is probably not going to make the corner!). I'm sure it happened in OIF now and then, but you and I know that is a big no-no from the tactics standpoint.
The view looking out the front of the cockpit is way too cluttered, even if you do something along the lines of a viewing point from over the pilot's shoulder and a telescopic effect so you're looking only through the HUD field of view. Heck, even then to be accurate the viewer probably wouldn't be seeing any of the HUD data displayed...your noggin' has to be right where the pilot's is to see that data. Any other position and you might catch a little of what's being displayed on one side of the HUD or the other.
Speaking of which, any word on whether the A-10 is going to get a new HUD for Suite III/PE Dice? I know they had talked about upgrading the computer that generates the data projection, but it would be sweet if they replaced franken-HUD with one that is a lot closer to the pilot. That would allow more pilots to sit where they want and still see the data.
By the way, nice screenshots from LOMAC! Maybe I'll catch up with you at Hawgsmoke.
