Do any of you have a picture of the Chaple we dedicated to Vance? I would also like to have a picture of Vance (during happer times) to put on my tribute page if anyone has one they feel would be appropriate.

Found the pic Jackb..thanks. Old 70th guys (or should I say pry 70th guys) didn't we dedicate the chapel to Vance and place a sign on it?

I took many pictures while over there of tent city...but never of the Chaple....

It used to say, in memory of a fallen knight..., someone apparently deciced to paint over it with out knowing why it had been painted. But thats what happens when units from outside the A-10 community start showing up..

not to be too critical but Van's name was Thomas or Tom Vandenburg, not vance....I am not sure on the spelling of the last name but I think that is correct. Phaseman will be able to confirm
