Got this from another poster at WAB.

"Just when you think it can't get any worse, it does.

A video located today on Sheik Abu Hamza's website, www.shareeah.org, features four children, doing what as children the world over do: pretending.

But what is completely unnerving about this video is what they are pretending.

One young boy kneels in front of three other children, in the same manner of the condemned man; Three other children stand behind him in the same way that the terrorists stood over the men prior to their beheading. The three standing children are armed with pretend weapons. One of the three children is a girl.

The tallest of the three standing children pretends he is Zarqawi, and reads a list of demands.

The film clip ends with the pretend beheading of the kneeling child.

Chilling."

Yeah Snipe, in the struggle between good and evil it is not always this easy to determine which is which. Teaching children to imitate brutality and barbarism is confirmation of evil intent, as if we needed it. We can not even contemplate negotiation with the likes of them. We must win unconditionally. I don't know why military action in Iraq is even controversial anymore.

Appeasing Hitler was popular in Europe right up until he invaded.

Why?

People are stupid...

No, people believe what they want to believe and disregard contradictory info. Consider the following bad logic progression: "That statement is weak on proof, but it confirms my prejudice. If it isn't right, I wish it were right. If it isn't the truth, it ought to be. Yes, it is truth." Eveyone does it. It requires more discipline than most people have to be skeptical, realize few things are really as they seem, look at every source for alterior motives, analyze alternate scenarios, blah, blah. Go with your prejudice (or yor party line, or your tribal decree), it's easier that way. I have gone full circle...Apparently I agree, People are stupid.

The League of Nations of pre World War II, and todays United Nations run very comparable courses. Its nice to know that certain leaders within our own country learned that appeasing tyrants only encourages them...France and Germany out of all should realize this the most...
