I know what they were doing here. John Kerry was with a bunch of his hollywood buds and they decided to reenact a scene out of the Woody Allen movie "Everything You Wanted to Know About Sex But Were Afraid to Ask". In this scene John's direction was to don his costume (the sperm suit), "stand in the door", so to speak, as a mock paratrooper and when the director yells "action" he screams GERONIMO and quickly exits the tube as the scene's "climax"... I guess you had to be there.

Why is the DNC so defensive on this picture. This was part of a deliberate publicity shoot at Cape Canaveral this week. Kerry knew and welcomed the official NASA phographers. Everybody looks goofy in one of those "poopy suits". It's just funny to see a man in his position totally out of character. It has no political significance unless the campaign wants to make it so. Lighten up everyone. The other picture I posted is the same thing from 1988 where Mike Dukakis put on the Snoopy helmet and struck a pose. He looked so dopey, many jokes were cracked at his expense. Bush has had many more unflattering pictures posted of him too. I like it. It takes down those who fancy themselves as better, prettier, more educated, and more sophisticated than the rest of us. Politicians and their handlers should be prepared for these things with a light hearted response that they have bad hair days just like everybody. That opportunity was missed by the Kerry handlers here. They just panicked that they would get blamed for their candidate looking bad, and stated blaming those Rascally Republicans. They shot themselves in the foot.
