For those interested in seeing photos of Hogs from Hawgsmoke 2004, I have put together a CD with over 100 photos taken by Kevin Jackson and I during the competition. Click on the following link for more details.

Great idea Mephisto and I'm sure there are some great photos on this disk if they are from you and Kevin! I'll post this around the sites I visit and put a link on the Hog Pen later today.

The reason behind the low viz is not to end up with prints all over the place. Still the content is of interest to anyone who love the Hog and did not have a chance to be at Hawgsmoke 2004. I will try to answer any requests for printable images (300dpi) if needed.

Cheers,<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Recived my CD yesterday and there are some great pics on there..thanks a lot Mephisto! Everyone should buy one just to help support guys like you, Kevin, and Nigel in your effort to photograph Air Force aircraft.

Also thanks for the "little extras" you sent along with the CD! <img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle>

This year HAWGSMOKE was in Alexandria, LA, two years before it was at Ft Drum and the time before that (2000) it was at Alpena CRTC. That should answer both of your questions...

Cheers! M2

The location is picked my the last winner, Barksdale won in 2002 so they picked old England AFB in their home state. I think it will be a vote next time because it was rained-out this year, somewhere nutral like Nellis AFB NV.

Nellis AFB might sound great for many to hold the next one. I would definitely prefer D-M! Might be a lot easier to work it than Nellis. Either way, what are the chances to get the Hogs wet again there?
Would be interesting to have a look at the Hogs at AMARC on top of that!
