Took this today while eating at the little diner at the GA ramp. Didn't even notice the paint job till I got home to view the pics.

FYI, those are vinyl decals that the sign shop made up, nothing painted at all.

Saw a pic in <i>Air Force Times</i>, no mention on how the stuff was applied...

thanks, aren't most of the unit markings on the engines decals as well?

The only decals in vinyl on the jet are the names of the pilot, DCC, ACC, nacelle decals, "Let's Roll" and thats pretty much it. The rest are painted.

Top Gun ifin you were eating at the Flight Deck down on the GA ramp you must be from the area ? Fire me an email at my home addy and we can get together and maybe you can come out to the ramp. Our A10's are down on the North end of the field.

I'm from Rochester NH, near Pease. I drove down to that area just to see what I could take pictures of in the pattern. I've over heard the C-5's from Westover on my scanner when they were refueling that our little neighboring town of Newington alway complains of the military traffic.

Anyway, I would love to hook up with you as I already have plans to come down again. Is your home addy in your profile?
