I know it wasn't an A-10 but thought the hog community would want to know.

Bummer. Glad the pilot's OK.

So, you have trouble. We all have trouble. Build a bridge and get over it.

I don't think even the superior Hawg maintainers could put this Humpty Dumpty back together again!

At least with the Hawg you have the Ti-tub as a starting point!

So, you have trouble. We all have trouble. Build a bridge and get over it.

He's correct. To add insult to injury, during the fire department response to the accident, Nellis' P-26 pumper/tender (5000 gallon) rolled over while responding to the crash. It went too fast over a speed bump while code 3 and rolled on it's side in front of the child development center.

That's the second rollover Nellis FD has had in 8 years. Last one was a P-24 structure engine they rolled. It was fixed (sort of) and sent to DM, where it's at now as Engine 7. If you ever drive behind the thing...directly behind it...as it's going down the road, it's frame is still skewed a bit since you can still see a fair angle of the left side of the truck when it's supposedly driving straight.

The Fire Truck incident was unrelated to the crash and happened about 20 minutes prior to the plane going down. Though that happened to be why the news was already on scene for the crash. Great PR huh.
