I am doing a series of military related articles and am working on one now about A-10 role, if any in Vietnam. I seem to recall they had limited service in the last days of the Vietnam war, and seem to recall seeing them in theatre. I know they went into production in 1972 and we got out of Vietnam in 1973, and I may be wrong about the A-10 seeing action in Vietnam, but I need to talk with any active duty, retired, reserve A-10 pilot.

The first production A-10 didn't roll-off the line until 1975, there were 6 1973 pre-production aircraft built but they were used to finish testing the A-10 design. The first combat unit was in 1976, long after the Nam war was over.

I see you are from Crestview, does this have something to do with the PE installs done by Crestview Aerospace at Eglin?
