I am facinated by the warthog. The Det. I am going to this fall has the a-10 for a mascot. they call themselves the thunderhawgs. Anyways Im new on here and I just wanted to say hello.

SkidMArk. Welcome aboard.

When You Reference Det. are you refereing to an AFROTC (COLLEGE LEVEL) or JROTC (HIgh School Level)

For those in the AF this also refers to an active Units DEt. Which is a Detachment (Satelite) Location away from their parent. Which is usually the case For expeditionary wings or a support entity that is split by locations in their area of responsebility.

I am currently in a AFJROTC det. I am going to an AFROTC det. soon. It is DET. 030 in Fayetteville Arkansas. Sorry to be so indirect. Any info you guys can give me on the A-10 will be greatly appreciated and used to better my understanding of this air craft.
