hey guys if the damage is only to the engine pod how long does it take to get hog ready to fly again. Is it a simple in the field swap out.

To change a nacelle isn't too difficult. Basically just drop the motor, then the nacelle, then the opposite to install. The thing that would take the longest is waiting for a nacelle to issue. It could be done in a day or two depending on the priority given to fixing it.

for 258 we yanked the off the doors and aft cowl off 987, had to do some abdr on them and sent them up range. the acft flew into to Kuwait 3 days later.

Dice I watched the mid-air at pope while there.......well not actualy the collision itself, but the parachuting pilots, seats falling to the ground, and the impact and sliding of the lawn dart into the 141 on green ramp
