Check back in, oh, say, 20-25 years!

I swear this idea surfaces around this time of year, every year, like clockwork.

There are 10 kinds of people in the world: Those who understand Binary, and those who don't.

Over my dead body, along with a few others as well. Ed just doesn't get it.

That is truly a stretch linking California wildfires with homeland security.

You'll probably be getting more inquiries, as "Firehog" has reemerged as a popular modelling topic. I don't know why they'd waste an expensive A-10 airframe for firebombing, as you really couldn't even get enough retardant in it, even with an additional belly-bay, to do much good. Better to just design and build something relatively inexpensively and to the task, such as the Canadair design.

Why is it the biggest fools of most April Fools' jokes are the implementers?

Weight and Balance wise their Making a serious mistake in their thinking with the "Moments"

once the gun is removed it will be tail Heavy, and if they attempt to rebalnce the aircraft, they ARE FLYING WITH UNUSABLE WEIGHT.

Hot air, and slow manuevering with the amount of thermals/turbulance generated by the Fires is dangerous.

This is the reason why light planes, such as the OV10 and others are only used as a FAC/ Die pack marker or fore emergency supply drops.

The same goes for helicopters, Light threat fires and protecting property, Not high elevation and/or large acreage fires.

Commical, This guy clearly knows nothing about the Weight of liquid and usable payload weights distributable on the A10

"The greatest pleasure is to vanquish your enemies, to chase them before you, to rob them of their wealth, to see their near and dear bathed in tears, to ride their horses and sleep on the white bellies of their wives and daughters."
-Genghis Khan

When I started to read this I thought WTF...

Are they going to use the Hogs to put out fires like Red Adair used to, by blowing them out with explosives.

Range time and fire-fighting rolled into one.

Guess how dissapointed I was when I read the article properly...
