I was Glad to be a witness and Supporter of your Commitment to each other. I think Gracie loved it as well.

Thanks Glenn, we were happy that you could be there. For the others, my wife and I were married in Vegas almost 5 years ago, but, (theres always a but inst there?). Late last year my wife started taking classes to join the Catholic church (I was already), after much paperwork that involved ex spouses and such we were able to get married on the 30th, on top of that Wif was able to get baptized and do her first communion.

You mean you two were "living in sin" these past five years?

What made you give up on the best part, now? lol

And, of course, now that I know you are Catholic, you do understand that, as a semi-practicing Lutheran, it's my duty to lambast you with even MORE vicious taunting.

All in all, congrats. You two are good, thoughtful and caring people that I suspect will have long and happy lives together.

I get this from my Catholic friend.
He used to go to his girlfriend's Lutheran services and couldn't tell the difference.

Catholic-lite? LOL! All Marty Luter did was to remove most of the excess baggage and pagan antics the Vatican have installed.

Historically (hysterically?) I've attended ELCA churches. A Blessed Union between an ELCA and a Missouri Synod is a mixed-marriage, right?

Lately, I've been hanging around with Baptist friends, and a few years ago attended a series of New Testament study/discussion gatherings with them. Talk about letting loose a fox in a hen house. Some of the folks I only know from that group STILL look at me funny when I run into them in town (not that most people don't, but they show a particularly endearing leary expression).

You may (or may not, if you're MS) find this highly ammusing:

I'm not, I did. Be even funnier if I was "Northern tier state Lutheran", but I'm originally an Ohio PK.

LOL,

In Kuwait, it's funny to watch all the bacon deprived folk stampeed for the supermarkets when they hear a delivery of Turkey bacon has come in.

That's one food riot I don't want to get mixed up in...

You're absolutely right.
There's a big and tastier difference.

Whatever. This is pointless. I've never had pig and never will, so it's all a moot point
