Quite curious.....I have searched the news sites in the Syracuse New York area and NO mention of Mr Crook is any where. There is a rather left wing weblog that interviewed hima few weeks ago and they had an update that seemed to alude to him faking his own death.

Check the Social Security death regitries.

Havent tried the social security route but.....there has been no death certificates filed in that name in new york from what another has told me, nor has there been an arrest warrant been filed for any case that involves his name. It would only make sense that the media would have been all over this like white on rice if it truly happened. But strangley there has been no mention at all about it.

Whether he's dead or not is not of importance, the important thing is that the site is offline permenately.

It doesnt really matter....he has more than 1 site from what I have found. He has a new one that is ready to launch soon called "foresakethepolice". Same type of format. I have also found out while doing a google, that he is a self avowed white supremeist. I saw the H & C interview. Talk about somebody that couldn't get a job in the real world, he's a complete loser. My daughter could beat the crap out of him!

In all reality, no need to have him pull down his website; he should leave it up for all to see. It speaks for itself in regards to the idiocy of it and how it protrays the man himself. So in that regard, go ahead and keep it up.

Remember, many of us here work to defend the right for people like this guy to be able to say what he wants, no matter how good or how stupid. In this case, he's doing a great job of showing how stupid he is, so let him keep doing so. But calling for or demanding he take down a website only gives his site bits of attention and credibility.

No law against being a moron in this country.....at least not yet.

I hear ya type 7. I had to laugh at his interview with Hannity and Colmes. If you went to his web site the next day you heard a different version of the story that I saw on the TV. The guy is a real piece of work and unfortunately he does have the right to say "some" of the things that he does. Although he claims to have not defamed or slandered anyone, but reading the crap on his site he calls the CinC an "idiot savant" and anyone in the military (or retired) a leach, scumbag etc. Thats the issues I have with him. Sounds pretty slanderous to me.

I totally agree with Type 7 - he can say whatever he wants, it's a free country.

I also believe in karma, and he's going to get a BVR bitchslap one day that he never saw coming.
