Saw this listed as -UH-60 Mosul Laser Spotter- looks like an

The first one was definitely a helicoptor. The second one <i>sounded</i> like an A-10, but I can't say that with much confidance.

They are specially modified UH-60's that fly with only one unit in the Army. 7.62mm miniguns, 30mm cannon and 2.75" rockets.

160th Soar, pavehawks are equipped with a Fixed position Mini 7.62 and a 30mm Apache chaingun in the fixed position. The crew stations also have their Miniguns for the doors. these helicopters are also equipped with Hellfire Missile Launchers. It is basically the NATO equivelant of the Russian Hind Gunship/troop varient But better avionics for the specops mission.

Kiowa OH58D-R's are now carrying a 7.62 Minigun in place of the .50 Cal m2 pod. I suspect these were Kiowas. (My Brother is a Kiowa Section commander for an Airborne Brigade)
