Well, we are now on Lackland in the TLFs waiting for the house we just bought. I took the boys on a stroll through the BMTS parade grounds to look at all the a/c along the perimeter, and came across the A-10 that is located along the fence on Military Drive. It is 76-0547 and is done up in 23 TASS markings with a "NF" tailcode. I was just wondering if anyone had any connections to this particular a/c? Also, along the top of the slab there are three golds stars on a blue background, anyone know what these signify?

For any of you Flying Tigers out there, the only addition to the grounds that I can see is an A-7 done up in 23 TFW markings and an "EL" tailcode. No teeth, however.

I've got some low-light pics of both, the sun was setting pretty quickly but I took some digital pics just for the hell of it.

Believe that was the tail flash of the old 23rd TASS, from which the NF tailcode comes from.
