great bunch of guys, the demo crew took the time to talk to us in the FBO while the pilots were going over their practice schedule with Ed Shipley.

Jeff Yost signed the single A-10 picture for me<img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>

Loved it when the East Coast A-10 pilot came to RIAT in 03.......no disrespect to the SP Hogs but I wish he had brought a Flying Tiger jet over.
Saw Ed Shipley and Jim Beasley fly a very tight 2 ship P-51 display at the Flying Legends airshow at Duxford last month......awesome stuff.

What does DCC stand for when under the pilots name?

ACC I'm assuming means assistant crew chief, but I'm stumped on DCC.

That would've been UCC, of which we all know there are plenty. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

Most units have both a DCC and ACC. Each unit uses a different format and location to display their names. The prefix DCC and ACC is not always used. The DCC is usually listed higher on the left side of the aircraft closest to the pilot's name. The ACC often appears below the DCC's name or on the opposite (aircraft right) side of the cockpit. Some ANG units do not always have a DCC or ACC assigned to every aircraft because of manning. This is often referred to as an orphan! Most ANG/AFRES units have two aircraft not assigned to their PA, and do not get the funding for the additional manning.
