I honestly dont know what active duty A-10 units are like because I was an F-14 guy, but I consider myself like all technicians, full time Air Force. Having said that we have a great repoir with our pilots. However there are a few a few that are just heads and tales above all of them, guys that you know would do anything for you regardless of the officer / enlisted game. There are guys that you would follow anywhere, Mottley is one. I would let him fly me jet anywhere anytime without reserve. Criminies I hope he never reads this.

By this time tomorrow I shall have gained either a pearage or Westminster Abbey........Nelson

Cliff Latta was the USAFE demo pilot! He just had his fini-flight last week at B.C. I'm the CC on his jet, 80-0221, I guess he's flying a desk at the Pentagon now!
We also have our base commander Col. Roger Seidel who just passed 4000 a couple of months ago.

Skiff was the first to get 4,000 and has the most, somewhere around 4,500. Ron Henry also has 4,000+, he flew with Baltimore.

I think Latta was in the 91st at Woodbridge, could be mistaken.

Probably was the 91st, I think he advised the last official USAFE Hog demo driver, Tim McDonald.
Those USAFE demo's in the 80's were alot better...IMHO... than the ACC demo's we get over here now, maybe the rules have changed.

"Coach"! I had no doubt that you surpassed 4K flight hours in the Hog. Never! With my spontaneous reply "please give me a proof" I only asked for your ID which is not given in your user profile. Meanwhile, I think I know who you are, sir. Well done! And sorry for any mistakes!

Yours sincerely
J.J.

P.S.: Special thanks for your tip related to Skiff!
