Was reading up on Pappy thread. Audie by the time he was 20 won every medal in US Army. Everyone doubted him, at 5'7" and 130 pounds. These fools in Washington could never hope to have his character.

You mean those fools in Western Washington. Big difference between the West & East side of the state. Had WSU been Boyington's Alma Mata their already would have been a bar, frathhouse, street, and local micro-brew named after him. If the Husky's don't wan't to take Boyington, I am sure the Cougars will...Boyington grew up in the Courd'e Alene Northern Idaho area, before he went to U of W.
