How long has the East Coast demo team been using the blue coveralls?

Not sure on the blue coveralls Fender, but I know when the display team was started at England, think it was 1984, the crew chief wore blue.
Uniform pretty much like Transient Alert, or the Ducks (T-Birds) used.
1st Crew Chief was a good buddy in the 75th, Sgt. Les "Arma" Dillow.

Les was a Great Guy as well as a Great Mechanic. <img src=newicons/anim_bow.gif border=0 align=middle>
Goose? Any ideas whatever happened to Les? He is a fellow Illinoisian, but damned if I remember where from. I just know its Northern!

I know the West coast guys are wearing Grey/black and they had a different color coverall/flightsuit before that.

You might be a "Bulldog" if: You bend over and grab your ankles when you hear: "EXERCISE, EXERCISE, EXERCISE!"

If I remember correctly, while I was stationed at Pope (2000 - 2004) they were wearing black flightsuits.

Never saw the EastCoast demo team myself but the WestCoast 'guys' had black at Hawgsmoke 2004.

when i was on the team at pope the 1st year we started we had black flight suits in 92 it was me, tsgt's hicks, frenchy (cant spell hi last name) prince valiar, eric gibson, and hell i cant even remember the rest......... demo pilot capt tom "big" deal capt norton (nariator) and i cant remember the other naraitor

HOGSNORT, I met Les Dillow in either late 84 or early 85 while stationed at Suwon AB Korea. I ran the Sqd Equipment Issue Shop, and was one of the first stops when processing into the Cams Sqd. I was able to see and talk to everyone who was assigned to the Sqd. Being an ''old''75th member I spoke to anyone that came in wearing 74th, 75th, or 76th patches. Les was assigned to the training section, if I remember correctly.I left way before him, so lost track of him. I'll try some of my locators and let ya'll know what I come up with.

Actually, there was not much else to do during Hawgsmoke 2004. We were all stuck inside the hangar when it was raining cats and dogs outhere at England. It was only a 48 hour shower. Lightning even hit a hangar. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Of course not, I was trying some of Mudd's "knock people out of their comfort zone" posting technique. I am just jealous I can't eat a lollipop anymore, gotta watch the sugar intake these days.

the only air show i rember doing in IL was at springfield. We were hosted by a lawn dart unit whose "snake" patch looked like a "pukin clown"
