The play-off are started. About a few months we know who is taking the StanleyCup. Last year was the lock-out, that was bad for the sport. I hope that Detroit Red Wings wins it. It is mine favourite NHL team. For me is it clear that Ovechkin is rookie of the year and not Crosby.

Well I would like to say Buffalo but they are now in a dog fight with Philly. I still they will pull out the 1st round win in 6 games. New Jersey is the hottest team right now in the East and it will be interesting to see how they matchup against Ottawa when and if they play them. The Carolina/Hab's series may go 7 so that one is up in the air. Out West it is always a crap shoot. I think the Oilers can upset the Wings. Calgary looks strong again and the Sharks are huge scoring machine if they can keep it going. I hope the Av's can knock off the hated Stars in game 5. With all this said until The Sabres are eliminated I stick with my team. GO SABRES!!!

Forsberg is dominating Buffalo quite nicely.(3G,5A=8pts in just 4 games)

Things are looking a little bleak right now, but I'm sticking with the Red Wings.(Been a Wings fan forever) Down 3-2, but it's still possible.

Sorry but I don't find those 3 goals very dominating. 2 were weird deflections and one was an empty net. Yeah goals are goals but Buffalo has not been blown out in any game. They have always had a chance to win. Last night a couple of breakaway conversions and this series would be near over. Have to give the Flyer credit. They came back after getting embarrassed 8-2.

BUMP!!! Gotta bump this one back up after the Sabres knocked off the Sens tonight in overtime. I really think Buffalo can come out of the East and have a good shot at the CUP! Too bad my hockey watching days will soon be over as I head out next week to the sandbox. Hopefully, I will be able to catch them on NHL.com's Radio broadcast. So we got the Ducks waiting for the Sharks/Oilers winner (Series tied 2-2) and Sabres waiting the Hurricanes/Devils Winner (Hurricanes up 3-1) Needless to say if the Oilers are eliminated there will be a first time Stanley Cup winner this year. It has been a wild playoff to say the least.

Hey now. We all know what happend in 1999. The infamous "NO GOAL". Ruff got a jab in at the NHL this weekend when he said "since 1999 all goals are reviewed." Bettman is probably throwing a fit right now. All the big market/well followed teams are gone. This is a great time for the small market teams to get some air time and respect. Thay made the adjustments into the new faster NHL better than the big market teams did. The revolution has begun! Thanks Snipe, hopefullt the Comm nazies won't block NHL.com or this wonderful site. GO SABRES!!!!

I,m gonna go with Buffalo because they are the NHL affiliates of our local team the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs. I also would like to see the underdog win it......

Edmonton Oilers, I think they gonna to win.
Saw on CNN (videosite) a nice report called "hockey fever = no beer". In Edmonton was all the beer running out the shops. I think they have a serious problem there
But is it imagination or is this season very long?

The Hurricanes are winning and winning. It is now 2-0 for them against the Oilers. I think Oilers strikes back in the next game.
