74th ESTA couldn't land here, so we came to turn all their jets and be an in-place advance MRT. This way if anything broke, here we are. No jumping through hoops to get a crew here after the fact when time/tankers are an issue. Only one broke, so everyone else except a few of us went back to Moody after the other A-10s left and we just finished fixing the broke one a few hours ago.
The wind is outrageous today. The water is breaking over the top of "that rock", you know the one. The one
everybody seems to take a picture of and point to 'hey look at that giant rock over there"
