Its time for the "Santa Goose" venting for the month<img src=newicons/madani.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=newicons/anim_cussing.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=newicons/pain10.gif border=0 align=middle>

I called the Credit Card company to check on a offer they released at the sametime I got "Stuck with buying my new HVAC system"
I called them because when I made the purchase ($6200)<img src=newicons/anim_shock.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=newicons/spit.gif border=0 align=middle>
Right after I charged it that morning I got in the mail a deal for
"2.99% fixed rate if I use these checks"
So I called the folks who installed it ,and it had already gone thru, so I called to see if I could get the 2.99% since I didnt get the checks before I charged.

Well "Push 1 for English Push to for Spanish"

5 choices the 6th one was "Hear more choices"
Press
5 more choices and the press 6 to return to main menu
Well I wanted Customer Rep.
Pressed 0 "this is an invalid code try again
pressed 9 "this is an invalid code"

Here's the main menu
Same 5 again,so on and so on etc................
Finally They cut me off.
Called again but this time I just pressed "0" off the bat.
"Your call is being transferred" Cool!

Waiting,waiting,waiting,waiting, 15 mins,
Then I get the Operator,She ask how can I direct your call?
I need to talk to Customer services please

Ok one moment
waiting waiting waiting, then I hear the ringing.
PUSH 1 FOR ENGLISH PRESS 2 FOR SPANISH Pressed 1
enter 16 digit number
enter 5 digit zip code

Wait while they retrive my records

Gives right back where I started!

So after 30 mins I just hit a number ,was told that they couldnt help me in that department,but they'll transfer me,
I finally after 40 mins I got Customer Services.
Verify all your info etc.......
"How can I help you?" I told them what happened,and asked if I could get the "2.99%" ? They said
"Well did you use the special checks"?
No, I just told you I got them right after I charged it.
"Let me talk to my supervisor"
waiting waiting waiting------------
"Sir that was a special promotion good for only a short time"
I asked then
"When did it start?"
She answered "on the 15th of Oct." I said when did you send out the checks? "Let me check"
"Oct 17th" she replied.
I said "Well I did it on the 19th,they came later on that day,you tell me give payment sent by mail "7-10 days" so you started the deal on the 15th mailed them out on the 17th and their only good until Oct 31st so really I could of not gotten them until the 27th thru the 30th" going by what you tell me".They could of been only good for 3 days.

Long pause "Well Sir yes your right but you had to use the checks"


<img src=newicons/madani.gif border=0 align=middle> I said " THats pretty low",and she agreed with me, "Sir let me pass you over to another person my supervisor" I said "Thank-you"
and have a nice day to her.
Got her supervisor went thru the whole thing again.
"Sir I can see your point,but you had to use the checks but I'll send it up the Line to another Department to look at in your case"

So I'm waiting for a phone they promised I would get within 2-3 buisness days from the "Folks who can make that Determination"

So it took 1hr 25 mins to get to this point and its Day4 now.<img src=newicons/madani.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=newicons/anim_furious.gif border=0 align=middle>
Guess what I'll be doing Monday?

Press 1 for English 2 for Spanish

Goose,

What happens if you don't press 1 or 2 when you first call in?

A lot of UK companies have these push button menu systems and the only work with tone phones, but there are a few folk here that do not have tone phones but still have pulse dialers. And these won't work with the menu systems.

So some of theses menus systems are designed to transfer you to an operator if they don't get a tone in 15 seconds or so.

It's worth a try and might get you a human being to vent at a little quicker.

Or Goose you can always select the message that is for activating a new acount, if they think they are getting more business you should get an operator!

HEY ,thats a good idea Lady!

Didnt think of that one. I'll try it we'll see what happens.

44, they dont hardly give you the "Touch tone, or dail" choice anymore. I always hit "Dail" just to get a live person quicker.
But they dont have it.
Plus I cant call after 4:00pm Thats when the Texas group gets taken over by "OVER THERE!"

I didnt call ,I've been sleeping most of the day,
I need to have my "A" game (or in my case "C" GAME) to deal with this.

Thats all I got to say, I LOST IT ON THE PHONE,HAD ENOUGH.

They told me they didnt have any records of me calling last week and could I explain the problem again.

not taking at bitch just trying to sell you a real lemon. FEMA finally found us on thursday with rental assistance we should be good for a few months now.
